- What changed for druids in WoW: ForeverYou can shift form without dropping your weapon's proc. Tiger's Fury is gone, replaced by a Feral talent that trades mana for energy.
- Druid weapon damage in WoW: ForeverYour weapon's DPS carries into Bear, Cat, and Dire Bear Form. The swing speed is fixed by form, and Blizzard has not said which form swings faster.
- Druid Cat Form quest in WoW: ForeverDruids unlock Cat Form at level 20 through a Moonglade quest chain. Here is every step, the Skyborne version, and what actually got fixed.
- Warrior changes in WoW: ForeverVictory Rush is baseline at level 20. A 1 October patch fixed a warrior hit-chance bug and rebuilt Fury's route to Flurry.

- WoW: Forever gear and stat changesHit and crit are each one stat now, weapon skill on gear shrank, and a new Expertise stat cuts your chance to be dodged or parried.
- Mage AoE farming changes in WoW: ForeverWoW: Forever weakens the continuous slows used to kite large dungeon packs. Developers want gaps that make the Mage vulnerable, while preserving strong AoE damage in a group with a tank.
- Class rotations in WoW: Forever: what changes?WoW: Forever aims for three or four core rotation abilities, with room to react and use utility. Longer cooldowns sit outside that count, and some beta specs are still being developed.

- Unified Hit Chance and the Missing CapsMelee, ranged and spell hit are now one stat. That changes which items help you, not necessarily how much hit each attack needs, and no caps are published.
- Weapon Skill or Dodge and Parry Reduction?Weapon skill works as before but comes in smaller amounts per item, and some new items lower the chance your attacks are dodged or parried. No breakpoints are published.
- Does downranking still work in Forever?Yes, at a new price: a low rank still saves mana, but once it is far below your level it loses bonus damage or healing and proc chances. Blizzard has published no formula.
- Holding threat as a Bear in ForeverBear Form's threat bonus rose to 50% on 8 October, Demoralizing Roar now puts threat on every target it hits, and Bears should gain more Rage from incoming damage.
- Penance or Heal: spending the cooldownBlizzard tunes Penance to be more mana-efficient than Heal and Greater Heal. It is a 2-second channel on a 12-second cooldown, so movement, urgency and overhealing still decide when to press it.
- Banes and Curses with several WarlocksA Bane can now sit beside a Curse, so each Warlock can bring damage and a raid curse at once. Whether two Warlocks' Banes stack on one target is still unconfirmed.
- The Forsaken Paladin charger at 60Forsaken Paladins get their own level 60 epic mount quest, themed on Retribution rather than the Alliance's Redemption. Its steps, NPCs and costs are not public yet.

- Healing teas by Cooking skillSix new teas restore mana and add Healing Power for 15 minutes, from Peace Tea at Cooking 25 (+2) to Sage's Tea at Cooking 250 (+44).
- Crafted Tier Armor: What It TakesBeta reports put four tier slots on Hyjal vendor recipes that need raid-only Malleable Essence of Nature, with one crafted piece wearable until Revered reputation.

Interface and settings
- Choosing a WoW: Forever LFG playstyleThe beta LFG tool now requires a playstyle: Learning, Relaxed, Competitive or Carry Offered. Choose a label, then talk to your group about the run you actually want.
- Where WoW: Forever addons stand right nowWoW: Forever supports addons through the Interface/AddOns folder, but the restricted Midnight-era API applies and a beta bug can wipe saved settings on restart.
- WoW: Forever controller supportWoW: Forever has official gamepad support, but the beta still marks the Gamepad UI Alpha. Switching into it resets your action-bar layout.
- Cooldown manager in WoW: ForeverIt stays off until you turn it on in Options. As of 1 October, Druid, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Warlock and racials track; Paladin and Hunter do not yet.
- WoW: Forever transmog toggle and NPC locationsTalk to the Transmogrifier in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to turn transmog on, off, or set outfits. Off means you see real gear, yours and everyone else's.
- Discord voice in the Group FinderThe party leader's Audio setting decides which voice chat the whole party uses, and a Group Finder post can now carry a voice mode that prompts each joiner to connect.
- Weapon-swap macros are backYes. Since the 8 October beta build you can swap more than one weapon within the same global cooldown, so a single macro can trade a two-hander for a sword and shield.
- How to view another player's talentsTarget the player, open the context menu on their target frame and choose View Talents, just below Inspect. The option arrived in the 8 October beta build.
The add-on is out now.
