What the quest involves
Blackrock Blockade is a Redridge Mountains quest. Blizzard's notes name three things it involves: Weapon Racks, Stolen Weapons and Blackrock Supplies. The notes talk about how fast they respawn, which suggests things placed in the world rather than drops from one named enemy.
The notes give no counts, quest giver, level or coordinates, and they don't say which faction takes the quest. Go by your quest log rather than a Classic-era guide, because the quest changed on 1 October.

Two builds, two changes
On 1 October, Blizzard listed Blackrock Blockade as updated and its spawn rates as adjusted, without describing what the update changed. The same notes mention that Redridge as a whole had already had a respawn pass in an earlier build.
On 8 October, Blizzard raised the respawn rate again, this time for all three: Weapon Racks, Stolen Weapons and Blackrock Supplies.
So any respawn complaint written before 1 October describes the quest before both changes. If someone has just cleared the area, the wait for the next rack or supply should now be shorter than older reports suggest.
Still to come
Not yet settled by our sources or tested in game:
- How many of each objective the quest needs.
- The quest giver, faction and level after the 1 October update.
- Where the racks, weapons and supplies sit in Redridge, and how quickly they now respawn.
- What the 1 October update changed beyond spawn rates.
