What Wolfsbane is, and what comes first

Undead can be Paladins in WoW: Forever, one of six new race and class combinations Blizzard added for the expansion. Undead Paladins get an early Redemption spell from Danitha Morr at Bandarion Keep, the Paladin keep in the Whispering Wood of Tirisfal Glades. Wolfsbane is the longer chain that comes after, not that first reward.

Keep the two as separate lists. The Forever quest database lists Wolfsbane's opening step, Diplomatic Incident, as available from level 18 and tuned for level 22, which settles the 18-versus-20 question earlier reports disagreed on. Players who first posted about finishing it had simply reached Danitha around level 20 before picking it up, not because the quest demanded that level.

How to start the Wolfsbane quest chain

Diplomatic Incident sends you from Danitha Morr to Trevan Rol at the Sepulcher in Silverpine Forest. From there, the chain runs through a rescue at Fenris Isle, a three-dungeon material hunt, a forge in Tarren Mill, and a fight back in Silverpine Forest. This order is confirmed by the Forever quest database and matches a beta walkthrough video published 22 September 2026.

1. Diplomatic Incident (Danitha Morr, Bandarion Keep) sends you to Trevan Rol at the Sepulcher.
2. Trevan Rol's steps at the Sepulcher and Fenris Isle lead to freeing Lumina Windsinger.
3. A Moon-Kissed Blade sends you after three materials: an Enchanted Silver Ingot from Shadowfang Keep, Whitestone Oak Lumber from the Deadmines, and a Purified Kor Gem from Blackfathom Deeps.
4. An Underrated Talent sends the collected materials to Ott, a weaponsmith in Tarren Mill, and Ott's Masterwork has him forge the blade.
5. The Moonsilver Blade has Trevan Rol hand over the finished sword, ready for the fight ahead.
6. Old Fire-Eye has you kill the worgen of that name in Silverpine Forest with the Moonsilver Blade. The reward is Wolfsbane itself.

The three dungeon materials to hold onto

Before you queue for Blackfathom Deeps, pick up Seeking the Kor Gem from Ulric Frostveil at Zoram'gar Outpost in Ashenvale. It asks for a Corrupted Kor Gem, which drops from naga outside the entrance and from Sea Witches inside. Skip the pickup first and a full clear of the dungeon will not give you the gem Trevan Rol needs.

The Enchanted Silver Ingot sits deep in Shadowfang Keep, and the Whitestone Oak Lumber drops from the goblins in Sneed's room in the Deadmines. Hold all three if a run puts them in your bags. Trevan Rol's quest needs all three turned in together before Ott can forge anything, and none of them are worth vendoring along the way.

Wolfsbane, the weapon at the end

Killing Old Fire-Eye in Silverpine Forest with the forged Moonsilver Blade is what turns it into Wolfsbane, a blue two-hand sword at item level 31. A beta walkthrough published 22 September 2026 and the beta item files agree on the stat line: 69 to 105 damage, 9 stamina, 10 intellect, and a Holystorm proc that deals triple damage against Wolves and Worgen. Wowhead has not published its own tooltip for Wolfsbane yet, and beta numbers can still move before launch.
