Damage left

See the estimated damage still to come from your own damage-over-time spells, right on your target’s health bar. On by default, with a cue when the estimate covers its remaining health.

On by default. Find its controls in Settings → Damage-over-time preview.

See what’s still ticking

Cast a supported damage-over-time spell and keep its target selected. A translucent marker shows the damage Wowdee estimates is still to come from your own spells.

Read the finish cue

A finish icon appears as your estimated remaining damage approaches the target’s current health. When fully revealed, the estimate covers that health, helping you judge your next cast.

Make it yours

Choose separate spell colors or one combined color, adjust the marker and portrait icon, and show the estimated total as a number if you like. The preview starts on; you can turn it off in Settings.

Questions

Does the finish cue mean the target will die?

It means the estimated damage covers its current health. Misses, resists, dispels, healing and damage modifiers can change the outcome. The preview is a guide for your decision, not a guaranteed kill.

Which spells does it count?

Supported damage-over-time spells you cast directly on your target, such as Corruption, Immolate and Shadow Word: Pain, when the game provides enough readable spell details. It leaves out other players’ spells, effects triggered only by procs, channeled spells and area damage.

Will it work with every language and spell?

No. The first version reads supported English spell descriptions. Missing details or descriptions it cannot read are left out, so an empty preview does not mean you have no damage-over-time effects active.

Does it cast anything for me?

No. Damage preview only adds a visual estimate to your target. You choose and cast your spells.
