Quest arrow
An arrow to your quest’s next stop, with the distance and what to do when you get there. The 1–60 Guide and the Quest Journal both use it.
Follow quests, on the world map or in the Quest Journal.
Turn it on
Click Follow quests on the world map or in the Quest Journal, or give it a key. The 1–60 Guide points the same arrow at your current step.
Follow the compass
It shows what to do and where, with the distance, even to the next zone on your continent. While you move, it estimates the travel time. Hover it for the full instructions.
Arrive and carry on
The arrow can hide when you reach the spot and comes back when you walk away. Arriving doesn’t finish anything: the objective and the hand-in are still yours.
Questions
Does it find a way around mountains and water?
No. Direction and distance are a straight line, and the travel time uses the speed you’re moving at right now. You pick the road, flight path or boat.
Where do quest locations come from?
From spots the game marks for your quests, Wowdee’s own quest list and places where your characters made progress before. Those last ones are labeled “where you made progress before”: a good clue, not a promise.
What if Wowdee doesn’t know the spot?
It stays on your quest and says so, naming the zone when it can, instead of pointing somewhere random or jumping to another quest.
Can I point it at my own spot?
Yes. Type /wowdee way 45 62 Camp to point it at those coordinates on your current map, or /wowdee corpse to find your body.
Can I change how it looks?
Yes. Pick its size and color in Settings, drag it where you like and choose whether it hides when you arrive.
