What Blizzard fixed

Blizzard's 8 October beta notes include one line on this quest: players could become unable to start Blood Tithe after completing certain quests, and that is now fixed. The notes do not say which quests caused it, where Blood Tithe starts or which faction gets it.

That is the opposite of a missing prerequisite. If Blood Tithe vanished for you before 8 October, the likely cause was something you had already finished, not a step you skipped, and that block should now be gone.

Hand-inked illustration of a quest log stamped with a green check seal, an orchard gate swung open between its posts, and a gold path running past it to a farmhouse between two trees, with Dee at the start of the path.
A sketch of the fix, not a checklist: Blizzard hasn't said which completed quests caused the block.

If it still doesn't appear

A player feedback thread groups Blood Tithe with the quests of Aamelia Windfield, and its complaint is practical: she cannot be interacted with while she jogs between her house and the orchard. The same post mentions players on different phases waiting for her. A quest that looks missing may belong to an NPC who is just out of reach for the moment.

  1. Check again after the 8 October build. A refusal you saw before then may be the bug Blizzard fixed.
  2. Catch Aamelia Windfield while she is standing at the house or the orchard, not while she is running between them.
  3. If you are grouped, or have just changed world instance, make sure you can see the same Aamelia as your party.
  4. If none of this helps, report it in game and list the nearby quests you have completed, since Blizzard has not said which ones caused the lockout.

Still to come

Not yet settled by our sources or tested in game:

  • Which completed quests used to block Blood Tithe.
  • Blood Tithe's zone, level and confirmed quest giver; only a player thread links it to Aamelia Windfield.
  • Whether Blood Tithe has its own prerequisite chain beyond the fixed lockout.
  • Whether characters blocked before 8 October needed any extra step after the fix.
