WoW Forever's 1 October honor price increase
Most PvP gear and upgrade token costs went up on 1 October 2026. Blizzard's beta notes say the increase was about 50 percent for most items, timed to match how fast gear is meant to arrive. The honor cap grew from 15,000 to 25,000 in the same update, so you can still save up for a full purchase without hitting the ceiling.
"About 50 percent" is the developers' own wording, not an exact price. No current source lists what a specific helm or a specific upgrade token costs after the change. Do not take a September screenshot of a price, add half, and call that number exact; wait for the live vendor. The beta's level cap sits at 30 through this build, with WoW: Forever launching 4 November 2026.

How do PvP ranks earn Legacy points?
Legacy points from PvP come from three places, worth 12 points in total. Reaching rank 3, 7, 10, 13, or 14 is worth one point each, for five points. Reaching Exalted with each of the four Battleground reputations is worth one point each, for four points. Completing the week 4, week 7, and week 10 quests in the Field of Honor PvP Season's Journey is worth one point each, for three points.
That list describes Legacy challenges, not a gear shop. Legacy points are an account-wide currency; each character spends them on its own Legacy perks through the Legacy System. They are a separate currency from the honor you spend at a PvP vendor, and reaching a rank does not by itself hand you a piece of gear.
If you want the new 25,000-honor cap to fill faster, the Resourcefulness Legacy tree has a perk called For Great Honor, which increases honor gained from PvP. It is a character perk bought with account-wide Legacy points, separate from the ranks themselves.
Darkspear Islands adds a new PvP vendor
Darkspear Islands is Forever's new battleground: a 15-versus-15 map off the coast of Kalimdor that mixes Arathi Basin-style flag capture and defense with control points, confirmed at Blizzard's September panel. It also introduces two new PvP reputations, Theramore Expeditionary Force for the Alliance and Darkspear Raiders for the Horde. Reaching Exalted with either counts toward one of the four reputation-based Legacy points above.
Darkspear Islands opens to characters at level 30. On 3 October 2026, one beta player reported finding a Darkspear Islands gear vendor south of Ratchet, near Northwatch Hold, but said it would not sell anything to a level 30 character. Treat that as an early, unconfirmed account rather than a final rule. Whether its reputation gear sells before level 60 is not yet public.
Once the new honor prices and the Darkspear Islands vendor stock are confirmed, the Wowdee add-on and app will let you wishlist the exact piece you want and flag whether you already have the honor and marks saved up for it.
Still to come
Not yet settled by our sources or tested in game:
